WELCOME TO ALL PARTICIPANTS

The CITES Secretariat welcomes each and every one of you to the 13th meeting of the Conference of the Parties. We are pleased to inform everyone that a great majority of the 166 Parties to CITES will be represented in this meeting. This high participation has been achieved through the financial support provided by the following countries and organizations to the Sponsored Delegates Project for delegates from the least developed countries, developing countries and countries with economies in transition.

This is your first issue of the Daily Journal. This publication will list the daily working programme, as well as any meetings and social events taking place each day of the Conference. It will be available from 8:30 a.m. in the documentation distribution area, at the registration desk and at various locations of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
