The
Depositary Government of the Convention (the Government of the Swiss
Confederation) has informed the Secretariat that Oman deposited
its instrument of accession to CITES on 19 March 2008. The Convention
will enter into force for Oman on 17 June 2008, making it the 173rd
Party to CITES.
