The Government of Qatar has informed the CITES Secretariat that it is no longer able to host the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties in January 2010. Consequently, all of the previously published deadlines for the submission of proposals and working documents, for consideration at that meeting, no longer apply. The Secretariat is in discussions with the Government
of Qatar to find new dates for the meeting. It will announce the
new dates of the meeting and the new deadlines for the submission
of documents as soon as these are known.
