NOTIFICATION TO THE PARTIES No. 701 Lausanne, 24 August 1992 CONCERNING: Transmission of Documents 1.On 13 March 1992, the Secretariat sent by diplomatic channel a Notification to CITES contracting or signatory States to inform them of the amendments to Appendix III of the Convention requested by Argentina and Thailand. A copy of that Notification was sent to the Management Authorities on 13 March 1992. 2.On 24 April 1992, the Secretariat sent by diplomatic channel a Notification to CITES contracting or signatory States to inform them of the amendments to Appendices I and II of the Convention adopted at the eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (Kyoto, 2-13 March 1992). A copy of that Notification was sent to the Management Authorities on 24 April 1992. 3.On 18 June 1992, the Secretariat sent by diplomatic channel a Notification to CITES contracting or signatory States to communicate to them the Resolutions adopted at the eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (Kyoto, 2-13 March 1992). A copy of that Notification was sent to the Management Authorities on 18 June 1992. 4.The Secretariat hereby transmits to the Parties the following pages of the Directory sent with Notification to the Parties No. 139 of 5 June 1980. Three of these pages are new.
