1. By Notification to the Parties No. 720 of 21 December 1992, the Secretariat transmitted a copy of the new Export Permit for Black Bear used by Canada.
2. The Management Authority of Canada has asked the Secretariat, by letter of 15 January 1993, to inform the Parties that this new document is only for the export of hunting trophies of black bears. The standard Canadian export permit is still used for all other exports of black bears and parts and derivatives thereof.
