              Export of Specimens of Agapornis canus


The   Management   Authority  of  Madagascar  has   informed   the
Secretariat  that  it has established a quota  on  the  export  of
specimens of Agapornis canus at the level of 3500 animals a  year,
pending the results of a survey of this species in the wild.
