          Meetings of the Plants and Animals Committees


1.The  Secretariat  wishes to advise all Parties that  the  Plants
  Committee will meet in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, from 16 to
  19 May 1994.

  Parties  interested in attending this meeting  or  knowing  more

  Committee will meet in Beijing, China, from 16 to 18 May 1994.

  In  order to facilitate the issuance of visas, the name, address
  and  telefax  number of each participant must  be  sent  to  the
  Secretariat by 31 March 1994. This information will be forwarded
  to  Dr Wang Song of the Scientific Authority of China, to enable
  the issuance of official invitations.

  Observers  others than representatives of Parties  are  reminded
  that they must obtain the prior approval of the Chairman of  the
  Committee.

  The Secretariat requests that Management Authorities convey this
  information   to   the  relevant  people  in  their   Scientific
  Authorities.
