                            ARGENTINA

                 Suspension of Import of Dolphins


1.The   Management  Authority  of  Argentina  has   informed   the
  Secretariat that Argentina has suspended the import of  dolphins
  of  any  species and of any origin until a regulation  has  been
  adopted regarding dolphinaria.

2.The  Parties are urged to take note of the above information and
  not  to  authorize  any export of dolphins  to  Argentina  until
  further notice.
