     Procedures for the Issuance of Export Permits for Plants


1.By  letter  dated 1 February 1994, the Management  Authority  of
  Thailand  informed  the Secretariat about some  changes  in  the
  procedures for issuing export permits for plants, effective from
  that date.

  On the permit/certificate form (see sample enclosed):

     +For  the  export of hybrids, the box for other certificates,
     at the top of the form, will be validated.

     +For  the  export of species, the box for export  permit,  at
     the top of the form, will be validated.

2.The  Parties are requested to consult the Secretariat about  the
  validity of documents that are not filled in accordance with the
  above-mentioned procedures.
