1. The Management Authority of the United Arab Emirates has informed the Secretariat that, by a decision of the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of 17 November 1993, in accordance with a resolution passed by the Cabinet of Ministers of the U.A.E., the import of all specimens of the Houbara bustard (Chlamydotis undulata, Appendix I), dead or alive, either taken from the wild or obtained from any other source, is banned.
2. Parties are invited to take account of this information.
