Request for Identification Material for Plants in the CITES  Appe
ndices


1.At  its  fourth meeting (Brussels, September 1993)  the  Plants
  Committee  discussed in detail a programme for the  development
  of  identification  sheets for plants. However,  to  avoid  any
  unnecessary  duplication of work, the Secretariat requests  the
  Parties   to   provide   it  with  copies   of   any   existing
  identification materials for plants.

2.The  Secretariat would be grateful if Parties would permit  the
  use  of  such  identification material for the  development  of
  sheets for the Identification Manual for plants.
