                   Transmission of Documents


The  Secretariat transmits herewith to the Parties  the  following
documents:

+                  Inf. 9.2: RECOMMENDATIONS ON PROPOSALS TO AMEND
                  THE  CITES  APPENDICES, prepared by the  TRAFFIC
                  Network  for the Ninth Meeting of the Conference
                  of  the  Parties (Fort Lauderdale, 7-18 November
                  1994);  this  document  is  only  available   in
                  English.  Spanish  and French versions  will  be
                  available at the meeting; and

+                   Further to Notification No. 771 of 9 September
                  1993,  the  Secretariat is pleased to  send  you
                  herewith  a  copy  of the second  issue  of  the
                  CITES/C   &   M   International  Magazine.   The
                  Secretariat  encourages the Parties  to  promote
                  its   subscription   and  circulation   whenever
                  possible.  The possibility for CITES  to  spread
                  its message throughout the world will depend  on
                  efforts  made  by  the Parties to  increase  the
                  readership of this magazine.
