No. 838 Geneva, 22 February 1995 CONCERNING: Submission of Export Quotas for 1995 1.Resolution Conf. 9.3, which replaces Resolution Conf. 8.5, recommends that Parties that have voluntarily established export quotas for specimens of species listed in the CITES appendices make this known to the other Parties through the Secretariat. So that the Parties can be informed early in the year, the Secretariat invites Parties that have established export quotas for 1995 to provide the necessary details, before 22 March 1995, by completing and returning the table annexed to this Notification. 2.Parties submitting information on the export quotas that they have established for specimens of species listed in the CITES appendices are requested to ensure that they implement the provisions of paragraphs l) and m) under the second "RECOMMENDS" of Resolution Conf. 9.3. As the Secretariat is obliged to ensure that decisions of the Conference of the Parties are implemented, it will recommend to importing countries the rejection of export documents that do not contain the information asked for in Resolution Conf. 9.3. 3.This Notification replaces Notification to the Parties No. 820 of 25 August 1994.
