CONCERNING:

ARGENTINA

Imports of Dolphins

1. The Management Authority of Argentina has informed the Secretariat that Argentina has adopted Resolution 351/95 regarding aquariums, as a result of which it will once again allow imports of cetacean species included in CITES Appendix II.

2. However, the Management Authority of Argentina maintains the temporary ban on imports of dolphins from the Commonwealth of Independent States (C.I.S.) until further notice.

3. This Notification cancels and replaces Notification to the Parties No. 780 of 10 March 1994.
