CONCERNING:
CAMEROON
Loss of CITES Security Stamps
1. The CITES Management Authority of Cameroon has informed the Secretariat that, in early January 1997, security stamps with serial numbers from CM 9128851 to CM9130200 were lost. Therefore, in order to reduce the risk of fraud, the Parties are requested to check the serial numbers of security stamps affixed to export permits issued by Cameroon or by other countries of the region, to ensure that these security stamps are not used.
2. The Secretariat would appreciate being informed of any discovery of the use of any of the security stamps referred to above.
