CONCERNING:

ZAMBIA

Loss of CITES permits

1. The CITES Management Authority of Zambia has informed the Secretariat of the loss of its CITES permits numbered from 00201 to 00600.

2. Therefore, in order to reduce the risk of fraud, the Parties are requested to check the serial numbers of permits that appears to be issued by Zambia and of re-export certificates issued by other countries to ensure that the lost permits are not used.

3. The Secretariat would appreciate being informed of any discovery of the use of any of the permits referred to above.
