Lost CITES permits

The CITES Management Authority of Australia has informed the Secretariat that a large number of blank CITES permits, used to authorize exports, re-exports and imports, have gone missing. Any Party that is presented with an Australian permit that appears suspicious is encouraged to contact the CITES Management Authority of Australia to confirm its authenticity.
