Notification to the Parties

CONCERNING:
Specific reservations

1. The Depositary Government (Government of the Swiss Confederation) has informed the Secretariat that:

a) Germany, effective 12 April 2001:

i) has withdrawn its reservations for the following species in Appendix III:

– Arctictis binturong

– Civettictis civetta

ii) has entered reservations for the following species included in Appendix III, in accordance with Article XVI, paragraph 2, of the Convention:

– Mustela altaica

– Mustela kathiah

b) Liechtenstein, effective 5 April 2001, has withdrawn its reservation for Vipera ursinii in Appendix I

c) Sweden, effective 9 April 2001, has entered reservations for the following species included in Appendix III, in accordance with Article XVI, paragraph 2, of the Convention:

– Mustela altaica

– Mustela kathiah

– Mustela sibirica

d) Switzerland, effective 5 April 2001, has withdrawn its reservation for Vipera ursinii in Appendix I.

2. A revised version of the "Specific reservations entered by Parties", valid from 12 April 2001, is attached to this Notification.
