1. The Secretariat hereby transmits to the Parties the following data sheets of the Directory sent with Notification to the Parties No. 2000/048 of 31 July 2000. These pages reflect changes and replace data sheets of the Directory as follows:

4. The Secretariat hereby transmits to the Parties a new copy of Catch and export quotas for specimens of Acipenseriformes species included in Appendix II for 2001. This document replaces the one communicated to the Parties as the Annex to Notification to the Parties No. 2001/042 of 9 July 2001.

A problem occurred during the reproduction of the previous version of this document, which resulted in the sheets being stapled out of order. The number of a Notification referred to in the introductory paragraph to the Russian Federation quotas was also missing and has been inserted. The Secretariat apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused. However it should be noted that the quota document accessible on the CITES website has always been in the correct order.

5. Finally, the Secretariat transmits herewith, to Parties only, a copy of the Proceedings of the 16th meeting of the Animals Committee, held in Shepherdstown, United States of America, in December 2000.
