Transmission of documents

1. The Secretariat hereby transmits to the Parties the following data sheets of the Directory sent with Notification to the Parties No. 2000/048 of 31 July 2000. These pages reflect changes and replace data sheets of the Directory as follows:

United States of America a) Export permit/Re-export certificate/ Other certificate	Similar to the forms sent with Notification 1998/46 of 06/08/1998 (which are valid till further notice), but printed on security paper Original size: 27.9x21.6 cm Colour: bluish grey background with the words "U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE" in white across the face of the paper The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service logo appears as a watermark in the centre of the paper. The logo contains the words "U.S. FISH & WILDLIFE SERVICE" and "DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR" and includes a drawing of a duck and fish in front of a river and mountain Information on specific security features can be obtained from the CITES Management Authority of the United States or the Secretariat A valid permit or certificate will have the page number (red number in the lower left corner of the paper) printed in box 5b ("Security No.")

3. The Secretariat hereby also transmits updates to the Register of scientific institutions entitled to the exemption provided by Article VII, paragraph 6, of the Convention (distributed With Notification to the Parties No. 2001/008 of 9 February 2001).
