No. 878 Ginebra, 31 de agosto de 1995 ASUNTO: Instituciones cient¡ficas que gozan de la exenci¢n prevista en el Art¡culo VII, p rrafo 6, de la Convenci¢n (continuaci¢n) 1.En cumplimiento de la Resoluci¢n Conf. 2.14, aprobada por la Conferencia de las Partes en su segunda reuni¢n (San Jos‚, 1979), las Autoridades Administrativas de Alemania, Australia, Grecia, Pa¡ses Bajos y Estados Unidos de Am‚rica han comunicado a la Secretar¡a informaci¢n complementaria sobre las instituciones cient¡ficas que han registrado y que gozan de la exenci¢n relativa a pr‚stamos, donaciones e intercambios no comerciales de espec¡menes de museo y de herbario (v‚ase el p rrafo 6 del Art¡culo VII de la Convenci¢n). Los datos que se adjuntan constituyen una actualizaci¢n de la informaci¢n comunicada mediante las Notificaciones a las Partes No. 751 de 7 de mayo de 1993, No. 768 de 31 de agosto de 1993, No. 791 de 10 de marzo de 1994, No. 824 de 25 de agosto de 1994 y 856 de 18 de abril de 1995. 2.Conforme a las disposiciones del p rrafo b) ii) de la Resoluci¢n Conf. 2.14, se invita a las Autoridades Administrativas de las Partes que no lo hayan hecho a£n, a que comuniquen sin tardanza los nombres y direcciones de las instituciones registradas y, por ende, autorizadas a aplicar el procedimiento simplificado previsto en el p rrafo 6 del Art¡culo VII de la Convenci¢n, o informen, llegado el caso, de que ninguna instituci¢n cient¡fica de su pa¡s ser  registrada a esos efectos. 3.En este sentido, se insta a las Autoridades Administrativas a que codifiquen cada instituci¢n con un n£mero de 3 cifras elegido seg£n su conveniencia. Las dos letras complementarias del c¢digo ser n asignadas por la Secretar¡a seg£n el sistema adoptado por la Conferencia de las Partes [v‚ase el p rrafo x) de la Resoluci¢n Conf. 2.14)]. 4.La Secretar¡a agradecer¡a asimismo que se le enviasen, a fin de comunicarlo a las otras Partes, los modelos de etiquetas utilizados por todas las Autoridades Administrativas concernidas. 5.La presente es la continuaci¢n de la Notificaci¢n a las Partes No. 856 de 18 de abril de 1995.
