The CITES Silk Road Implementation and Enforcement Seminar, Urumqi, China, August 2005. Delegates from 12 countries in central and south Asia attended the seminar At a ceremony held on 6 May 2003, Mr Lay Chik-chuen of the CITES MA of Hong Kong, presented a Certificate of Commendation to Customs & Excise Department officers. Hong Kong is the first recipient of such certificates issued by the CITES Secretariat
